Provenance: Unknown. According to Rudolf Rasch, one of the previous owner of this collection may have been Jean‑Georges Kastner (1810‑1867), though he was neither the copyist nor the original owner. Rasch also suggests an English provenance for most of the collection.
Description: A manuscript collection of works by various authors. This collection contains several sonatas by Scarlatti: K4, K41, and K30 (incomplete).
Watermarks: Pro Patria; IV (Jean Villedary); IVDL (Jan Pieterszoon van der Ley).
Titles: ‘Dell Signor Scarlatti’; ‘Fuga Del Sig: Scarlatti’; ‘Del Sig.r Scarlatti’.
Copyist: A single hand is responsible for all of the Scarlatti (possibly an English hand).
Comments: In the top corner of the incomplete K30 the following annotation can be found: ‘The Subject is Said to’ve been / taking [sic] from a Cat walking on / & Harp:d’.
