Provenance: Unknown.
Description: A manuscript collection containing pieces by various composers, among which are KS8 and K33.
Watermarks: The RISM entry notes the presence of two watermarks: J. Berger, Auvergne, 1742; IHS surmounted by a cross in a circle (watermark quite similar to Gaudriault no. 735).
Titles: ‘De Scarlatti’ (KS8).
Copyist: A single (most likely French) copyist is responsible for both Scarlatti items.
Comments: Boivin 5 contains both of the pieces present in this collection. This does not necessarily mean that Paris 4877 was copied from Boivin 5; it may be more likely that a manuscript copy of Boivin 5 served as an exemplar.
Date: This collection is dated between 1774 and 1790 on RISM.
